Ecological tourists from the US will visit the Khabarovsk krai
Khabarovsk krai is - one of the largest and unique regions of Russia on natural resources, variety of flora and fauna. More than 300 nature sanctuaries, 6 reserves, set of special nature reserve and places simply untouched by civilization are located in its territory.
The Amur river is the main sight of the krai in which valley the greatest amount of natural, cultural - historical, tourist objects is concentrated. Only in Amur kaluga lives. It is huge representative of sturgeon, reaching 6 meters in length and weight about ton. The world record on classification of the International Game Fish Association on catching such kinds of fishes as hucho and Salvelinus leucomaenis is established in the krai.
« Amur - the father » - the native land of 9 small peoples of the north, each of which has the original culture. Therefore travel along the Amur river is one of the brightest and fascinating tourist routes.
July, 16 the group of ecological tourists from the US consisting of 63 persons arrives to Khabarovsk. After acquaintance with the Far East capital visitors will go to small travel up to Nanaian village Sikachi-Alian by the vessel «Count Muraviov - Amurski». During the cruise scientists will tell to the American tourists about the Far East nature, Amur - one of the largest rivers of the world, history of the Far East of Russia development by Russian trailblazers.
In village Sikachi-Aljan visitors will familiarize with life, traditions and ceremonies of Nanaians, and also creativity of national folklore ensemble. Each interested person will take away with itself unique Nanaian souvenirs from leather, furs or trees, symbolizing peace, kindness, health and prosperity.
The highlight of the program will be an excursion to rock drawings «Amur petroglyphs», having global popularity. Rock drawings, the earliest of which are the Egyptian pyramids, are one of the most interesting objects of ethnographic tourism in the country.
The tourists from the US will come back to Khabarovsk by buses on which pupils of children's home will arrive to Nanaian village. For children the excursion and cultural program, which will be finished by unforgettable returning to Khabarovsk by the comfortable vessel, will be also organized. It became one more charitable action of the American side.
To the given scale action the cycle of seminars, rates and trainings on ecological tourism, organized at assistance of ESD within the framework of the program «Complex assistance for development of small and middle business » by Far Eastern chamber of commerce and Far Eastern State Railway University.
The invaluable help in development of the courses and creation of qualitative tourist product of the Khabarovsk krai rendered Alchi Van Zoiland (World Wise Expeditions US), having rich 10-year experience of organization of trips over the Far East to Russia of ecological tourists from America and Europe. The reception of the given group in the Khabarovsk krai was organized be the Association of ecological tourism. It was self-organized after the end of ecological tourism courses. Students and teachers the Far Eastern State Railway University and Institute of foreign languages became volunteers in realization of the given project.
